BJJ INSTRUCTOR
Fabio is a sixth-degree Black Belt under the Carlson Gracie lineage. He has over 25 years of experience teaching Jiu-jitsu across the globe, most recently in Shanghai, China.Holding an extensive competition record, Fabio has had success at the highest levels in international competitions, having medalled in China, Brazil, Spain, and Portugal as well as at at the IBJJF Masters International.
Besides an extensive history of teaching Jiu-jitsu, Fabio is also deeply passionate about spreading knowledge regarding the history and rules for sports competition,
having been a referee at copious international events in China, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Italy, and Brazil.
Fabio is also certified to teach children, and has conducted instruction for the Brazilian Army Police as well as the Civil Police Air Operations.
BJJ INSTRUCTOR
Caique is a fourth-degree Black Belt under Carlson Gracie Jr. He started training judo in 1977 at the age of 4, and in 1988 started to learn Gracie Jiu Jitsu under Grand Master Francisco Mansur who received his black belt from Gand master Hélio Gracie. In 1991 Caique started training at the famous Carlson Gracie Academy on Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro.
At Carlson Gracie, he trained with luminaries such as Ricardo Liborio, Marcelo Alonso, Carlson Gracie Jr., Murilo Bustamante, Amaury Bitteti, Alan Goes, Wallid Ismail, Zé Mario Sperry, Vitor Belfort, Paulo Filho, and Ricardo Arona.

Since the end of Caique's competition career, he has focused on further self development and the study of the philosophy of self defense.
BJJ INSTRUCTOR
Casey is a First-Degree Black Belt under Rodrigo Medeiros (Carlson Gracie Lineage). He began his BJJ career in London 2008, starting his training at Roger Gracie's Academy, before settling at Carlson Gracie London, under Wilson Junior, along with coaches Dickie Martin and Simon Hayes. Casey is known for his lasso, spider guard, Carlson Gracie pressure passing and predominantly his footlocks.
He has competed in many local and IBJJF tournaments both in the UK and Asia, recently competing in Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and here in Hong Kong. Casey is regularly seeking to test his BJJ skills and continues to actively compete.
When not training and teaching BJJ, Casey has been working as a International School Primary teacher for over 10 years, which he is very passionate about.
He is looking forward to supporting both adults and children in their BJJ journey and to inspire their love for learning for the sport and martial art. Also, he is the gym's very own storyteller, @c.leebjj on Instagram!

Alex received his Jiu-jitsu Black Belt from Professor Rodrigo
Medeiros. He is a Managing Partner at DEF Group, the
parent entity of SHBJJ. He spends time in both the
Shanghai and Hong Kong Academies, and focuses
primarily in teaching beginner and introductory classes.
Muay Thai/Boxing Coach
Jeferson Oliveira is a lifestyle coach, personal trainer and Muay Thai world champion from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A professional fighter from the age of 19, Jeferson won the Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo state titles as well as the Brazilian championship twice, beginning the same year as his debut. Jeferson moved from Brazil to Thailand, and despite hardships he was crowned as a Muay Thai World Champion there.
He has been ranked amongst the best fighters in the world for many years and fought for many major promotions and stadiums having racked up a record of over 100 professional fights on Thai soil.
Feeling fulfilled as a fighter and seeking a new quest, Jeferson decided to improve his coaching knowledge and made his move to Hong Kong where he been living and teaching Muay Thai to people of all levels of experience, ages and backgrounds.
At SHBJJ Hong Kong, Jeferson focuses on teaching Muay Thai and Boxing in the kids program.
Hip-Hop/Movement Teacher
Kim is a professional dancer, educator and choreographer specializing in jazz and hip hop dance styles. Originally from San Francisco, California, she trained at the Shan-Yee Poon Ballet School in jazz, tap and ballet. During university, she continued to study dance styles such as commercial hip hop and West African dance whilst performing with several dance companies in the city.
Over the last decade, Kim has dedicated her life in Hong Kong to a career in youth and special needs education. She mainly works with schools and non-profit organizations like Love 21 Foundation to create inclusive and meaningful spaces for individuals to express themselves through movement.
In recent years, Kim has performed with the international project “The Dance WE Made” at West Kowloon, choreographed shows for the French May and the Hong Kong Players, and worked on community programs with the LCSD.
At SHBJJ Hong Kong, Kim focuses on teaching hip hop and movement in the kids’ program.
Academy Manager
Originally from Nepal, Ganga moved to Hong Kong in 2009, where she completed her high school education and obtained a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Bedfordshire. With a passion for hospitality and customer service.
Currently, she holds the position of Academy Manager at SHBJJ, where she oversees all aspects of the gym's operations. From managing the facility and coordinating marketing efforts to taking care of clients, memberships, and organizing events, she is here to ensure a seamless experience for everyone.
